Shop trip to Afan/Cwm Carn…

Last weekend the usual shop crew headed up once again to Afan and Cwm Carn. An early start at 6.30 as we hit the road to Afan first, there we got straight into the first climb looking forward to the first descent. This descent took some victims including Woody (video) and Tom’s rear inner tube. After getting ourselves back together we then continued with the rest of the great flowing singletrack and stunning views. On the fast final descent down to the road it was smiles all round, however the drag back to the van was not so popular. After a quick bite to eat it was onto Cwm Carn where a daunting first climb was waiting, with everyone nodding off in the van it was straight back on the bikes and it was safe to say most peoples legs were burning. Yet it was well worth it as when we reached the top and started to ride with the gradient everyone was getting back into it. The final descent of the day is fast one and it was a particular favourite with everyone on the day. Check out the video below and photo of the group. The crew…
