Myself (Greg) and couple of mates headed up to Revolution Bike Park in Llangynog North Wales a few weekends ago. The site is well known as to where the Atherton’s used to (and still!) live and train on some proper gnarly downhill tracks, as well as the huge quarry line jumps as seen in the recent Red Bull Four by Three series starring the Atherton’s.
It has recently been taken over the last couple of years by James, Tim and Susha who run it as a family business providing all the track maintenance and uplift, running it as a proper bike park. Its great set up with a lots of top British downhill tracks, super fast uplift and a BBQ for lunch.
We stayed in the local pub for two nights and uplifted Saturday and Sunday getting plenty of runs in. Would defiantly recommend any serious downhiller to get up there and check it out. For now check out the GoPro footage below…
